Wavetronix Click 600 Cabinet Interface Device
The Wavetronix Click 600 cabinet interface device provides all of the basic functions needed to operate SmartSensor Matrix or Advance sensors in one compact case. The module powers the sensors, protects the cabinet from surges and communicates with contact closure devices.
Description
The Wavetronix Click 600 interface device is a great alternative to intersection preassembled backplates. It provides DC power for up to 4 sensors and is equipped with a separate power switch for each sensor.
It forwards traffic data collected from the sensors to contact closure devices. For this purpose, it is equipped with four different types of connections:
- Four terminal block connectors on the back of the device for connecting to sensors (power and RS-485 communications)
- Four RJ-11 jacks on the faceplate for connecting to contact closure devices (RS-485 communications)
- Four communication ports on the faceplate that provide an interface with the control bus and connect to the sensors for configuration purposes:
- One DB-9 port for RS-232 communications
- Two RJ-11 jacks for RS-485 communications
- One USB mini-B connector
- One T-bus port for power and RS-485 communications
The Click 600 can be mounted on a shelf or the cabinet wall using the U-channel mounting brackets provided.

Miscellaneous characteristics
- 24 VDC outputs to power sensors
- 4 LED indicators:
- Red (PW): power
- Blue (OK): turns off if the device has been disabled by surges
- Green (TD): control bus data transmission
- Yellow (RD): control bus data reception
- Each data bus RJ-11 jack on the faceplate corresponds to one sensor and has the following features:
- Switch for turning the power to that sensor on and off
- LED for indicating that the sensor has power
- Switch for turning power on and off to the entire device
- Complies with applicable NEMA TS2-2003 standards
