Wavetronix Click 104 Four-Channel Contact Closure Module
The Wavetronix Click 104 is a contact closure module that is used as an interface between the SmartSensor™ HD radar and traffic controller. It can be plugged into any standard NEMA TS1/TS2, 170 or 2070 control cabinet.
Description
The Click 104 converts real-time serial traffic data collected by the SmartSensor™ HD into contact closure signals.
The device is extremely easy to install. It mounts onto a standard DIN rail and is hot swappable. Also, it is equipped with keyed removable screw terminals for ease of wiring.
It is equipped with two independent communications buses that enable device configuration without interrupting data flow:
- Bus 1:
- Two RJ-11 jacks for RS-485 communications
- One pluggable screw terminal for RS-232 communications
- Bus 2:
- One 5-position connector for power and RS-485 communications to and from the T-bus
- Two pluggable screw terminals for contact closure outputs
The Wavetronix Click 104 module comes with the Click! Supervisor software that runs on Pocket PC and Windows and provides the following features:
- Configuration of serial communication settings including serial baud rates
- Configuration of output mapping settings according to lanes
- Remote upgrading of the firmware
The Click 104 contact closure module is sold with a one-year warranty that covers parts and labour. (Refer to the Wavetronix warranty card for details.)
Fail-safe mode
The card enters fail-safe mode if it loses communication with the radar for more than 10 seconds (or the configured time). All outputs are asserted in fail-safe mode and the card exits fail-safe mode when communication with the radar is restored.
