ClearWay™ (KTS350)

Description

ClearWay™ is Navtech’s Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) designed for highways, tunnels, and bridges. This solution integrates patented radar technology with advanced radar analysis software to ensure safety where it’s needed most.

The system features the KTS350 radar, a 76 GHz Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar specifically developed for traffic surveillance applications. It provides continuous and precise 360° detection of vehicles, pedestrians, and obstacles under all weather and lighting conditions. Its advanced technology enables real-time monitoring, contributing to incident prevention and effective traffic management.

The system operates in either a centralized mode—where all radars report to a common point for software to analyze combined data—or a decentralized mode, allowing each radar to analyze data independently through dedicated server units directly on-site.

Thanks to its open architecture, the system supports numerous integrations, including key collaborations such as the integration with the Genetec™ system.
