A new start for Orange Traffic!
When I began my Tassimco adventure in 1995, I could have never guessed what the future would hold for me. I started out by recruiting the team that still makes up the heart of our staff today in 2013. The small Terrebonne-based company has come a long way since its humble beginnings. Thanks to our innovations in research and development, we were able to make a significant impact on the American traffic signal industry, with the introduction of a new digital countdown pedestrian signal. Our small company had its first hour of glory when the success of this pedestrian signal received national coverage in the US from CNN, followed by numerous other networks.
Thereafter, the development of backlit LED signs, satellite synchronization modules (SPC-22 and STS-22) and other technological innovations enabled us to increase our exports to nearly 50% of our sales figure.
In Québec, we registered phenomenal growth thanks to our product lines made up mainly of Peek Traffic, Dialight and Wavetronix devices. The installation of over 1,000 traffic controllers on the Island of Montréal alone certainly did not go unnoticed.
If this company has been so successful in the past, it is in great part due to its fantastic team of dynamic and conscientious employees. We have often been lauded for the quality of our services and the attention we pay to each of our clients, something that gives us a great deal of pride.
Today, as we launch this new website, it is with great pride and a strong sense of accomplishment that I pass my passion over to Roger and Philippe Fugère, the new owners and administrators, who have already added their personal touch to the company with the Orange Traffic name and their own flair that eloquently characterizes them.
Roger and Philippe are experienced managers who have built their reputations in the business world on their know-how and integrity. I am fully confident in the new outlook on Orange Traffic’s future.
